YouTube launches new features video sharing and massaging to users in app worldwide.

Image
YouTube today is launching a new sharing feature in its mobile app, previously in testing with users in select markets.  The feature allows YouTube users to send their friends videos and chat from within a new tab in the mobile app – effectively turning YouTube into a mobile messenger of sorts. The feature has been in testing since the middle of last year, and, at the beginning of 2017, rolled out to users in Canada as something of a “soft launch.” It later expanded to parts of Latin America, the company tells us. Following the feedback gained from these long-term initial tests, YouTube felt it was ready to debut the sharing feature to a global audience. That roll out begins today, but won’t reach all YouTube users worldwide for a few days. In other words, if you don’t see the sharing option yet – just wait, you will soon. Since its debut in tests, YouTube says it has made some slight changes to the user interface for sharing, including the way ...

Mesothelioma prognosis

Image
The general prognosis for someone diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma is often unfavorable.  However, making informed decisions about treatment, lifestyle changes and overall health can improve survival and quality of life. Prognosis and diagnosis often are confused. A prognosis is the likely outcome of a disease, like a forecast of how the disease will affect a person.  A diagnosis is the medical classification of which disease a person has. A pleural mesothelioma prognosis usually is not favorable, but may vary depending on the stage of the cancer. Diagnosing the cancer in the early stages offers a more hopeful outlook because doctors can still perform curative surgery to remove tumors. People diagnosed with this type of asbestos-related cancer can improve their chances of survival. Many have lived well past their life expectancy by electing treatment and improving their overall health. That could include lifestyle changes, and following the advic...

Types of Lung Cancer Mesothelioma

Image
Types of M esothelioma The type of mesothelioma means the type of cell the cancer started in. Knowing this helps your doctor to decide which treatment you need. There are 2 main types of mesothelioma.  These are mesothelioma in the: 1. Covering of the lung (Pleural mesothelioma) 2. Lining of the tummy (Peritoneal mesothelioma) Pleural mesothelioma starts in the sheets of tissue that cover the lungs. These are called the pleura. Peritoneal mesothelioma grows in the tissue lining the inside of the tummy (abdomen). This is called the peritoneum. Pleural mesothelioma is much more common than peritoneal mesothelioma. Mesothelioma by cell type Mesothelioma is also grouped according to how the cells look under a microscope. There are 3 types: Epithelioid – the most common types Arcomatoid or fibrousmixed type (also called biphasic type) These types of mesothelioma cells can be further divided into other types. These are: a. C...

How do you prevent Mesothelioma?

Image
Mesothelioma generally begins with a series of genetic mutation occurring within a cell making them to grow and rapidly multiply out of control. It is not certain what causes the initial mutation but researchers have found that the disease is  predominantly caused by prolonged exposure to  asbestos . It thus follows that people living in environments or engaged in occupations that expose them to asbestos face a higher risk of contracting the disease. Though cases are rare, researchers have explained that the disease can be caused by factors other than the extent of an individual’s exposure to asbestos. For instance,  the disease can be caused by irradiation of the chest or abdomen and inhalation of fibrous silicates such as talc and erionite . Radiation treatments for other cancers have been linked to mesothelioma in some studies. Radiation can damage the cells’ DNA, leading to out-of-control cell growth. Simian virus 40  may also be a determining...

Why are there so many Mesothelioma Commercials ?

Image
Between 2,500 and 3,000 people are diagnosed with mesothelioma every year in the U.S.   In comparison to the annual number of new lung cancer cases (over 200,000), which is one of the most widespread malignant diseases at the moment, mesothelioma victims are few. However, as you have noticed, there are a disproportionate number of commercials urging people who suffer from mesothelioma to call various attorneys or law firms in order to recover financial compensation. Personal injury cases involving asbestos exposure are very complex and demanding, requiring specialized knowledge, vast experience with the legal system, as well as a lot of time and determination. Because asbestos victims represent a small portion of the people who seek financial compensation for personal injuries, there are not many lawyers specializing in this type of cases. Therefore, some attorneys resort to advertising their services on TV to gain visibility, which will most likely continue t...

Asbestos

Image
What Is Asbestos? Asbestos refers to a set of six naturally occurring fibrous minerals: chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, tremolite, and actinolite. Among these, chrysotile and amosite asbestos are most common. Although asbestos fibers are microscopic in nature, they are extremely durable and resistant to fire and most chemical reactions and breakdowns. These properties of asbestos were the reasons that supported its use for many years in a number of different commercial and industrial capacities.  The strength of asbestos, combined with its resistance to heat, allowed it to become the material of choice in a variety of products, including, but not limited to, roofing shingles, floor tiles, ceiling materials, cement compounds, textile products, and automotive parts.  Asbestos is now strictly regulated as exposure to this toxic mineral can now be directly and scientifically linked to a number of lung and respiratory condi...

MESOTHELIOMA LAW FIRM

Image
For decades, mesothelioma, a life-threatening disease that can affect the lungs, abdomen, and several other major organs, has been linked to prolonged exposure to asbestos, resulting in many people seeking a mesothelioma law firm to get justice and help them cover the overwhelming expenses associated with the disease. Typically, mesothelioma victims were exposed to asbestos while working at a job site that used asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). In many cases, the manufacturers of asbestos and ACMs knew of the hidden dangers and risks of asbestos, yet failed to inform the public, as asbestos was an extremely profitable mineral. Because of the hindrance of information, workers who developed health issues from asbestos exposure may be eligible for financial compensation to cover expenses such as lost wages, medical bills, emotional suffering, physical pain, and more. Mesothelioma Settlement Process Filling a lawsuit: At thi...
